About Us

More Than a Doctor's Office. A Legacy of Care.

For over 20 years, the Jasser Center for Comprehensive Care has been a place where patients are known by name, not just condition — and where exceptional medicine and genuine human connection go hand in hand.

Our Story

The roots of the Jasser Center run deep. Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser began his medical career serving his country; earning his medical degree on a U.S. Navy scholarship, completing his residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, and eventually being selected to serve as physician to the U.S. Congress and Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. He served 11 years as a naval medical officer, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander and earning the Navy Meritorious Service Medal before returning to civilian practice.

In 1999, Dr. Jasser joined his father’s practice in Phoenix — a family tradition in medicine he was proud to continue. Drawing on his father’s legacy in cardiology, he went on to found the Jasser Center for Comprehensive Care in 2004 with a clear vision: a practice that combined the rigor of academic internal medicine with the warmth and continuity of a family doctor. Today, JCCC is home to a team of exceptional providers who share that same commitment: to know their patients, take time with them, and deliver the kind of medicine that lasts a lifetime.

M. Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Jasser has been in private practice in Phoenix since 1999, and is one of the most decorated internists in Arizona. He is board certified in both internal medicine and nuclear cardiology — a combination that gives his patients access to advanced cardiac diagnostics that most primary care offices simply cannot offer.

His academic credentials are equally distinguished. Dr. Jasser serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix and Banner University Medical Center, where he teaches in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Bioethics and Medical Humanism. He has served as Medical Director for Bioethics at Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix since 2021, and has chaired their Bioethics Committee since 2002.

Among his peers, Dr. Jasser is recognized as a leader in organized medicine. A past president of the Arizona Medical Association (2006–2007), he has served as an Arizona delegate to the American Medical Association House of Delegates since 2008 and founded the AMA’s Private Practice Physicians Section in 2019.

Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Jasser has given back to his community through board service with NotMyKid — an Arizona organization dedicated to protecting youth from substance abuse and online predators — and previously through the Maricopa County Board of Health and the Area Agency on Aging.

A Doctor Who Gives Back.

Dr. Jasser’s commitment to service extends well beyond the clinic. From his years as a Navy physician — including tours in Operation Restore Hope and service to the U.S. Congress — to his ongoing work in medical ethics, education, and community leadership, he has spent his career in service to others.

That same spirit informs the culture of JCCC — a practice that treats every patient as a person worth knowing, and every community it serves as one worth investing in.
