M Zuhdi Jasser, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nuclear Cardiology
Dr. Jasser has been in private practice in Phoenix since 1999, and is one of the most decorated internists in Arizona. He is board certified in both internal medicine and nuclear cardiology — a combination that gives his patients access to advanced cardiac diagnostics that most primary care offices simply cannot offer.
His academic credentials are equally distinguished. Dr. Jasser serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix and Banner University Medical Center, where he teaches in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Bioethics and Medical Humanism. He has served as Medical Director for Bioethics at Banner–University Medical Center Phoenix since 2021, and has chaired their Bioethics Committee since 2002.
Among his peers, Dr. Jasser is recognized as a leader in organized medicine. A past president of the Arizona Medical Association (2006–2007), he has served as an Arizona delegate to the American Medical Association House of Delegates since 2008 and founded the AMA’s Private Practice Physicians Section in 2019.
Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Jasser has given back to his community through board service with NotMyKid — an Arizona organization dedicated to protecting youth from substance abuse and online predators — and previously through the Maricopa County Board of Health and the Area Agency on Aging.
